Return and Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Splurge Furniture, we want you to be satisfied with every piece you bring into your home. This Return and Refund Policy explains how returns, refunds, exchanges, and cancellations work for orders placed on our website. It applies to orders placed and delivered within the United States, as we currently ship only within the U.S. All prices and refunds are processed in U.S. dollars (USD).

By placing an order with Splurge Furniture, you agree to the terms described below. Please read this policy together with our Shipping Policy.

2. Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return. To be considered on time, your return request must be submitted to our support team within this 30-day window. Requests made after 30 days from delivery may not be accepted.

3. Eligibility & Condition

To be eligible for a return, an item must meet all of the following conditions:

  • It is unused and shows no signs of wear, assembly, or damage.
  • It is in its original condition, including all parts, hardware, and accessories.
  • It is returned in its original packaging.
  • You can provide proof of purchase, such as your order number or order confirmation email.

Items that are returned not meeting these conditions may be subject to a partial refund or may be declined. See Section 9 for details on partial refunds.

4. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Final-sale and clearance items.
  • Custom or made-to-order pieces produced to your specifications.
  • Gift cards.
  • Items that have been damaged through misuse, improper assembly, or normal wear after use.

If you are unsure whether an item is returnable, contact us before placing your order or before requesting a return.

5. How to Start a Return

To begin a return, email us at Support@splurgefurniture.com with your order number and the reason for the return. Our team will review your request and, if approved, issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number along with detailed return instructions.

Please do not ship any item back to us without first receiving an RMA. Items returned without an RMA may not be processed and may delay your refund.

6. Return Shipping Costs

Who pays for return shipping depends on the reason for the return:

  • Change-of-mind returns: If you are returning an item because you changed your mind or no longer want it, you are responsible for the return shipping costs.
  • Damaged, defective, or incorrect items: If an item arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, Splurge Furniture covers the cost of return shipping.
  • Large furniture: For oversized or freight items, we will arrange freight pickup and share the details with you once your return is approved.

7. Inspection & Processing

Once your returned item arrives at our facility, our team will inspect it to confirm it meets the eligibility and condition requirements in Section 3. Inspection typically takes a few business days after the item is received. We will notify you by email once the inspection is complete and let you know whether your refund has been approved.

8. Refunds — Method & Timing

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. After your return is received and inspected, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of approval. Once processed, please allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to post the refund to your account, as posting times vary by institution.

9. Partial Refunds

In some cases, a partial refund may be issued instead of a full refund. This may apply when an item is returned:

  • Not in its original condition.
  • Missing parts, hardware, or accessories not due to our error.
  • With damage caused after delivery that is unrelated to shipping or a defect.

If a partial refund applies, we will explain the deduction before processing it.

10. Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for a different one, email us at Support@splurgefurniture.com with your order number and the item you would like instead. Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the replacement item differs in price, we will arrange to collect or refund the difference. In many cases, the simplest path is to return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the item you want.

11. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

We carefully pack every order, but transit issues can occur. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or you received the wrong item, please report it within 7 days of delivery by emailing Support@splurgefurniture.com with your order number and clear photos of the issue and the packaging.

Once we review the photos, we will arrange a suitable resolution — repair, replacement, or refund — at no return shipping cost to you. For more on how items are shipped and what to check on delivery, see our Shipping Policy.

12. Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at Support@splurgefurniture.com with your order number. If your order has not yet shipped, we will cancel it and issue a full refund to your original payment method. Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be cancelled, and you would need to follow the standard return process described above.

13. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received a refund that has been approved, please take the following steps:

  • Check your bank account or card statement again, as posting can take a few days.
  • Contact your bank or card issuer, since processing times vary.
  • If you have completed these steps and still have not received your refund, contact us at Support@splurgefurniture.com and we will help track it.

14. Restocking Fees

We do not charge a restocking fee for standard returns that meet the eligibility and condition requirements in Section 3. If any exception ever applies to a specific item, it will be clearly stated on that product’s page before you purchase.

15. Return Address

Once your return is approved and you have received your RMA, returns should be sent to the address provided in your return instructions, which is:
